"Bloom County" to return

A Facebook comment about the new strip made me smile.

And I paraphrase: "Steve Dallas was Charlie Sheen before Charlie Sheen was Charlie Sheen."
I remember that post. I think Charlie was inspired by Steve. He should pay Berkely royalties.

I think if you flip over with that many needles stuck in you ... you won't have to get used to anything for long.

IIRC, the only family of Milo's that was ever seen or even mentioned were his grandparents, and they disappeared from the strip early on.

I think the immature Bobby will come to represent internet trolls and their misogynistic, misanthropic, homophobic, racist, age-ist attacks.

I wonder if he'll come with an "ignore" button?

That's ok... No one said you have to love everything.

At least you still have Abby. ;)

I like some of the comments made on this strip.

I'm writing a Facebook comment about a Bloom County cartoon about Facebook comments.
Kind of scary when you think of it.

One of the reasons, I explain to my grown kids, why the 80s were so wonderful. Bloom County. So glad Breathed has decided to mock their world like he mocked mine. Self awareness is half the battle.
:bolian:

What's really worrisome is there already IS a Buzztot15 facebook page.

:wtf:

In that last panel, that's not a baby, that's Stephen King's inner child.
^^I think the kid in the teaser panel also deserves the Stephen King designation.

I must agree with Emh. I'm not sure what to make of this storyline. Is it supposed to be a satire on Millennials? I'm all for that, of course, anybody is fair game, but it's not working for me.

Possibly Millennials and their surgical connections to their personal devices, but also Internet and social media trolls. At least that's the impression I'm getting.

Yeah, I get what he's going for but it lacks Berkeley's usual level of bite. It has a certain...sameness to it, which is something I hate to apply to him.

I love the comments the comic gets on a daily basis and I occasionally comment myself. Berkeley's fan base are some of the coolest, chill people I've ever seen in a comment section.

...i.e. nothing like the people Berkeley is making fun of here.

Monday Flashback: 80's at its finest.

Hopefully this means Berkeley hasn't forgotten about Portnoy and Hodge Podge.
