OH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NEW TREK SERIES ASK HER!

She has a big following now outside of trekkies thanks to Orange.

MY GOD.. we are living in a time where this is an actual possibility. Seeing Janeway again in Star Trek. Sure I don't expect her to be a main character but as guest stars go she has to be pretty desirable!

Let's all just think about this in a dreamy way and wait for it to happen.

John Oliver was making fun of Religious Seeds.

I wish this would be real news. Imagine the joy and happiness this would bring the fandom and all the appreciating postings in this forum.

But I too would prefer a different solution to bring Janeway back.

My actual preference is a totally new show, new characters, and an absolute minimum of fanwank/homage references to all the rest of Trek. However I doubt that will happen and I'm happy to make suggestions of what they should go with if they have to use what we already have.

Well, they could make a series about the penal system in Starfleet, "Orange is the new command Red."

We've already seen the New Zealand Penal colony where Tom was... maybe there's a less ritzy version on Earth that they send the real "criminals".

My actual preference is a totally new show, new characters, and an absolute minimum of fanwank/homage references to all the rest of Trek. However I doubt that will happen and I'm happy to make suggestions of what they should go with if they have to use what we already have.

Perhaps they will go with that old idea to "do" a Starfleet Academy series. That way we could see visiting professors we know and love, along with old ships and space stations where the cadets serve as "interns".

Or... my fav which was to follow an Okono type character skirting the edges of Star Fleet's civilization.

JRulez that would be MY DREAM! Enough with the Feds and Starfleet, let's see how the real, unbrainwashed people live. But that's not going to happen.

I have however had a most excellent idea.

If this is set in the NuTimeline Janeway herself may never have become an Admiral. She could still be a Captain, a Captain of a ship..

THE WHOLE SERIES COULD BE ABOUT HER!
