Now that the ALCS is moving to Toronto, what's the story on the Rogers Centre roof? There's no "postseason rule" as to when, or if, it can be opened, is there?

(I can't remember, were there any postseason games in '92 or '93 with the roof open?)

MLB is keeping it closed. It's about 11 Celsius here, which is about 52 Fahrenheit, so you'd have to judge if you want to play in that.

Let's see if Bautista does something boneheaded again.

This... this is sad. Just give-up Toronto, you're not getting 12-13 runs.

Also makes KC's likelihood to win this series much more likely.

Toronto has also burned through their bullpen pretty good.

Overall the umpiring has been pretty good but the ump behind the plate tonight was brutal. He called a strike on Duda that was so far outside it was almost off the pitch chart. Some were so low, they were almost on the ground.

Gibbons burned through Sanchez by having him pitch in every freaking game, so we had to use Hawkins with a bum elbow and Cliff freaking Pennington instead! The worst manager in the league period.

That's been the case for the entire Mets-Cubs series, except the Mets have managed to adjust and the Cubs are swinging at every pitch that comes up there.

Same. (well, 34 years, but yeah) I just looked him up, and I've STILL never heard of him

Why would someone outside of the local Mets area (or devoted fans) have heard of a guy who works for the local radio broadcast of a team? I can't really name any of the OTHER broadcast teams on radio, either. I know my team, but that's about it.

I've only heard of John Stirling because the guy is a complete embarrassment, and other stations play his stuff occasionally to mock him. He'd have to get better to be considered a clown.
