Spoilers Gotham - Season 2

Michael Chiklis played a despicable muscle man character on American Horror Story: Freakshow last season. Now this is a good role for him as a tough-as-nails police commissioner.

For a criminal mastermind, Penguin ain't too smart to let her mother live alone, unprotected. If he had only done a better job looking after her, she wouldn't have been kidnapped by Galavan and used to blackmail Penguin into doing his bidding.

Funniest line, which was a nice little James Bond reference:

Bruce: Do you expect me to walk?
Alfred: No, Master Bruce. I expect you to run.

Yeah, that was pretty good.
Micheal Chiklis was pretty cool here, although he is such a good guy that I really can't see things ending well for him. He's either going to die, or it's going to turn out he's got some sort of horrible dark secret.

First Galavan's preoccupation with the "real" founders of Gotham and now Barnes' fascination with the history of the police precinct building -- I'm guessing they're secretly working together and both members of the Court of Owls.

Good - lots of non-classic Bat-villain stuff to be mined there.

Has the show sunk so low that nobody wants to bother finding the thread? Here, the bump is on me. That's all I got.

So they're taking us into Azrael territory, huh? Not what I'd prefer they explore, but it could be interesting...

There was an ep. of the show Stingray called, Bring Me The Hand That Ht Me, kind of fitting for this ep. But things are getting out of hand now, were this a straight forwad Btman series I can see Batman handling the situation.

Poor Butch, mentally and physically disfigured. Glad we got the back story on Galavan. Wonder when Gordon will wise up.

Oooooh, the Order of Saint Dumas! I can't believe I forgot that. I was just thinking Owls Owls Owls while they were doing that flashback.

So out of curiosity, do those groups that protest over showing a gay couple in a commercial ever say anything about sawing off limbs?

Monday's episode had a 1.30 rating in the 18-49 demo. This is a pretty significant drop from the previous series low of 1.50.

I have to hand it to you; you handled all those hand references handily.

Mallet hand Butch was terrific. I wonder if they will show how his programming was broke. Poor Miss Kringle be careful what you ask for. Loved the green light outside Nygmas room. The Firefly story was decent and I am glad she is not dead. Wayne a Enterprises is the big bad of this series.
