Interesting trailer, reminded me more of the "tone poem" ads from The Phantom Menace than your usual blockbuster type bombast.

I think that's pretty safe to say. At a guess, I would say some sort of relationship existed between the two before Kylo turned.

We already know that Kylo is being played by Girls' Adam Driver, and they even had a picture of him without the mask on in one of the Annie Leibovitz photos. I guess there is a slight chance all of that could be a massive fakeout, but I doubt it very much.
I was hoping for a more detailed look at the story, but it still showed us a lot more than the other trailers.
We already knew about Kylo's obsession with Vader, but seeing him talk to the mask was a cool moment.
Loved seeing Han and Leia hug.
Looks like the rumors about there being no Jedi or Force users since the OT are true.
I loved the exchange about the stories all being true.
Is Daisy Ridley using her real accent? The first lines from her sounded like an American accent, but the last couple sounded British.
I wasn't expecting to see a real shot of Luke, but I was hoping we'd get at least some kind of hint about his role.
Even though it didn't give me exactly what I want, I still loved the trailer and I am even more excited for the movie. It looks great! I'm not about to start calling it the best Star Wars movie without having seen it, but based on everything I've seen so far the possibility is there.
I actually got a bit teary watching the trailer. I can't wait for December.

I wonder who is talking to Rey in the beginning of the trailer? The first time I thought it was also Rey, but the second time I realized it she was talking to someone. I'm also curious how Finn goes from possibly crashing a Tie Fighter above Jakuu to running around on the planet wearing a Resistance uniform.

It looks like Kylo spends at least some of his fight with Finn without his helmet. You can see his hair from behind. I guess it could be sticking out from under the helmet, but it looks like he doesn't have it on.

I tried the biggest cinema in Perth (Western Australia) but that crashed at 7:30am and was fucked until after 8:00am, when tix were officially to be released.
I tried another outlet in the same chain and got perfect back row seats for the 12:01 session on the Thursday morning! Traditionally, movies start in Australia on Thursdays and finish on Wednesdays.
So........I'll tell you all what it was like around 3:00pm in the US on the afternoon of Wednesday 16/12!!!!!!!!!
