City scenes in Emergence

I watched Emergence on blu-ray last night. I bet it's only my third viewing - first when it was broadcast, then on DVD, and now on blu-ray. Some details I had completely forgotten, such as the opening Shakespeare scene.

The city scenes filmed on the backlot look exactly like the lot used for City on the Edge of Forever and A Piece of the Action. Am I correct? I checked the Compendium, which mentions that it's Paramount's backlot, but no connection to original Trek was mentioned.

Thanks.

"City on the Edge" used the old Culver City "40 Acres" backlot owned by Desilu. It was the same backlot used by The Andy Griffith Show, and you can actually see Kirk and Edith walk by Floyd's Barber Shop at one point. But "A Piece of the Action" was shot on the Paramount backlot at their main studio in Hollywood. So "Emergence" would've been shot on the same backlot as "Action" (though it's probably been rebuilt a few times in the interim), but not the same one as "City."

The 40 Acres backlot used for "City on the Edge of Forever", "Miri", "The Return of the Archons" and other 60s episodes was torn down in 1976. You might recognize some of the facades at this site, especially the section on the Desilu Years...

I could have sworn that it was the same lot used for the 19th century scenes in Time's Arrow as well.

Is the Paramount backlot the one that burned down several years ago?
You may be thinking of Universal Studios, the Courthouse Square block seen in Back to the Future had to be rebuilt after a fire.

Part 2 was filmed on the Paramount lot, Part 1 was an actual historic district in Los Angeles.
