Is Spock gonna bleed a lot?

Are we to assume there is a container of "thin" Vulcan blood, too? Maybe, "light?"

Ah, so they are going to the ancient lair of the Vulcan vampires on Venus.

Didn't McCoy needle Spock a few times in TOS about "that thin green stuff you call blood"?

I do remember McCoy saying Vulcans have virtually no blood pressure. T'Pau did call Spock out in "Amok Time" when she told him it was said his Vulcan blood is thin, and was he Vulcan or human, but that was an insult, not an empirical statement.

Just a thought, what if this picture is actually a shot of sickbay on the ship, and this is just how McCoy labels and stores things? ;)

Then we might be in trouble if he labels his instruments as: Skin cutter thingamabob, or Bone fixer whatchamacallit. :D

It's Alan Thicke's blood, from the supply he has stashed all over Canada, This one is from Vulcan, Alberta.

That label must be on the other side. Tell Cho we need another picture.

I'll be sure to pass along the request through my "insider" contacts.

;)

It's clearly a fake! My insider source let me know that "Vulcan blood" is a new stout beer from an Italian volcanic region, allowing for rich green grapes.

That's just the unprocessed version. Clearly they are using the brew-gineering for it's real purpose.

Vulcans have to have virtually no blood pressure, or that 200 beats per minute heart rate would make their arteries explode.

Dubai and the Vancouver woods are very different environments: different planets, or different locations on same planet?

Different locations on this planet.

In story? Most likely different planets.

Because that's the way planets tend to be in SF stories generally and in Star Trek particularly: climate/topography/atmospheric conditions of entire surface are uniform, with only exceptions being those which are artificially-imposed (see: Delta Vega, Gothos, Excalbia, Pyris VII, etc.)

How many habitable planets have we actually seen in Trek that were said\shown to be uniform? I can think of Vulcan, maybe Ferenginar, but that's about it.
I think the issue is that stories tend to involve a single location on a planet and then the crew moves on, so we only see a single area and assume it represents the planet.
The major exception I can think of (which isn't artificial) is Varidian III: The Enterprise crashed in a forest and Soran's launcher was in the desert.

We're in deep space. We could be visiting just one planet there. Who knows.

But he self-identifies as Vulcan, so we should respect his life choice. ;)

Respecting one's life choice is one thing, risking your life during blood transfusion is another. He should defer to McCoy for this one. Who does he think he is... Kirk?! :p

There's an all marijuana planet out there some where. I'm sure of it.

Thinking about how they find this crashed Starfleet ship, possibly the crew discover sealed orders after the Enterprise reaches certain coordinates. Spock, of course, knew all along...

KIRK : Why didn't you tell me? I could be flying this ship into disaster!
SPOCK: This mission is inherently dangerous, and indeed I recall you telling me that risk is our business.
KIRK : But a ship disappeared! And we're flying blind into unknown danger.
SPOCK: It is true that the danger we face is unknown, but knowing this is in itself advantageous. The things we do not know that we do not know are the greatest danger, compared with which "known unknowns" can be faced with some degree of confidence.
KIRK : When this mission is over, I think you'll make one hell of a politician.
