Regarding "Tumblrina," I wonder if she was supposed to be a reference to someone in particular, as she appears out of nowhere, says "Oh my gawsh! A sale?!" and then her cutie mark is herself inside of a group of stars.

Her mane is also markedly different from other pony manes, so I just wonder.

If it's a reference, I'm missing it.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe she's just a pony celebrity. I liked her.

^Moonlight Raven and Sunshine Smiles are sisters, but that never stopped parts of the fandom before I suppose. As for RariSass, probably going to be a thing.

Didn't know that about Tumblr, I rarely go there for anything but gifs, everyone there looks super thin, dangerously so but okay. Stretching the term my "little" pony though.

And:

Not everyone is happy with those prices.

 I love this show, and that's one of the reasons why. Every time I watch it I find out something different!

Me too. I want to hug the pony! :adore:

My wife and I were confused by the big pony's appearance. It sorta deflated the ending with a sight gag, and we didn't understand the sight gag. That said, while I'm happy to see other pony body types besides "normal", "extra skinny" and "not-quite-G1-round", this seems to be rather extreme. IT'll likely be a one-shot appearance though, save for future background appearances. The animators do love to re-use their existing work. :)

I think it was pointed out earlier that there's a picture of her in a locker from "Tanks for the Memories," when Dash was sneaking around the weather facility. Someone else somewhere suggested that she's Bulk Bicep's sister(?).

I don't really know, though. Like you say, it was a sight gag, and it happened so quickly, they had to know people were going to ask about it.

Here's that screencap:

It could be a massive troll, yes. I wouldn't put it past anyone at DHX.

Tumblrina seemed kinda nice. :)
I listened to Rarity's song and I'm tempted to rescind my previous grade and give the episode an A-.
Yes, Rarity is learning different versions of a lesson at times. But who among us doesn't need a refresher now and then, everypony?
This lesson focused on being true to your dream. Rarity wants to be a pony that customizes for every customer, a true seller of haute couture. But Sassy Saddles went for pret-a-porter for what seemed to be fear of failing again. Sometimes an episode doesn't need a true villain to succeed, but a character who's had something bad happen and wants to succeed at any cost.
