Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors, etc

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

Would it make sense for Nick Fury to appear in Civil War? I'm not sure if the ending of Age of Ultron means that he has come out of hiding in his faked death or not.

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

Nope. That's fake. It doesn't come close to matching the description.

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

From the pundits that have seen it, it wasn't a trailer. It was like a 3-4 minute sizzle reel. And from their description, it sounds like it had a lot of levity; which is disappointing for this story line.

I have seen better fakes than the one above. That one is like the same 5 shots repeated over and over again.

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

Haha, that's not even a TV-spot, nevermind a trailer. Who the hell would even cheer at that anyway?

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

I doubt that, weren't they already 2 months in to shooting by the time they finally settled on Tom Holland and he was in Atlanta?

That would make me a little apprehensive if they did massive reshoots and rewrites like that that far in to production.

I think Spider-Man will have more than a cameo in this movie, but not to the point that they had to completely rewrite the narrative. Black Panther is the guy that will bring the 2 sides together still I think.

But imagine if they don't actually need the actor for most of the shots--just a stuntman in costume or CGI or whatever. Then voice overs can be easily added into the final version.

Because its a teaser, for whatever reason the people who put it together just looped it.

No it was 3-4 minutes of footage from different sequences. We'll never see it. It was for D23 only. That stuff on youtube is just fake.

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

I think the best way to tell if something is fake is if it doesn't get pulled with a few hours or a day. The companies seem to be getting pretty good at tracking down and pulling these bootlegs.

I like it.

Yes; gold needs to be the accent color. Whenever they go with a lot more gold, it doesn't look nearly as good as when the red is clearly dominant.

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

Supposedly they just finished filming, so maybe we'll see the first trailer before Spectre or The Force Awakens.

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

Really nice new design, they are improving each time and it's a long shot from the clunky version of Iron Man 1 (which is still cool).

What i always wondered though since quite a few production pictures with Bucky alongside the cast appear how soon will they find him and how soon will he join them?

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

Since they aready showed a scene after they find him as the after credits scene for Ant-Man, I'm assuming it must be fairly early in the movie. If it were late in the movie, I doubt they'd want to spoil it so early.

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

^ My thinking too though you might want to spoiler-code that.

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

It's to late for me to edit the post. I figured it was long enough since Ant-Man came out that I wouldn't need to spoiler code stuff from it.

Re: Captain America: Civil War - pre-release discussion, news, rumors,

Jeremy Renner has posted some concept art that reveals whose on whose side in the Civil War.

Captain America (Team Blue): Cap, Winter Soldier, Falcon, Agent 13, Hawkeye
Iron Man (Team Red): Iron Man, War Machine, Vision, Black Panther, Black Widow
No sign of Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, or Ant-Man in the artwork. The fact that Ant-Man's main connection to the conflict is Falcon, makes me think if he does get involved it will be on Team Blue.

Ant-Man is on Hawkeye's shoulder in the other pic.
