Star Wars: Episode VII: The Nerd Rage Awakens

What these guys do is more like being a script/story editor, which is something George desperately needed.

George needed a real screenwriter, for starters. And a director with some actual enthusiasm.

But that doesn't change the fact that Belated Media's suggestions were meh, and that RLM's original stuff sucks.

Which, hey, you never know. 30 years is equivalent to almost the entire Prequel and Dark Times period in the movie chronology and that could be more than enough time for anybody with the Dark Side powers and the will to try to revive the Sith Order.

This is sci-fi and fantasy so it doesn't have to conform to what we consider sensible timeframes of progress in the real world. ;)

Who is the chrome storm trooper?

or Chrometrooper

Captain Phasma, played by actress Gwendolyn Brooks.

Gwendoline Christie.

Somebody isn't a GoT fan.

;)

I think the Prequels would have worked better if Maul was the singular villain in all three films and took the Dooku role as well. I still want my Grevious though

Just think if the villain they're facing in all three movies is Qui-Gon's killer. It's such a better motivation for Anakin to give into hatred.

Yes, and it's meh. Everyone can be a critic, but if critics could do anything else but criticize, they'd be anything else but critics.

That also goes for RedletterMedia, they never managed to produce anything original worth watching.

I tend to agree, though I found both to be thought provoking and interesting. My personal preferred commentaries on the PT are from Friendsinyourhead.com (who do full length film commentaries) and Confused Matthew. TPM was one of the first commetaries that Friendsinyourhead did.

Yep, guilty.

Unless there is a Chrome stormtrooper in GoT I'm not inclined to watch it. Even Jason Momoa, who I liked in Stargate, and Alexander Sidig, from DS9, could not get me in to that show.

Instead, my reaction is more like Calvin's in the first two panels in this comic

I'll check it out. As for Confused Matthew, it's hard for me to take him seriously after the whole 2001 fiasco.

No. If he and Tom Sizemore ever do a movie together it'll be one of the few times both the hero and the villain die before the end of the film.
