Yeah that was a shame. I read that Ricardo Montalban said he was dissapointed that he didnt share any face to face screen time with Shatner in WoK.
I also didnt know this, but he said that due to his scheduling conflicts with his TV show Fantasy Island, he filmed his scenes 6 months apart from the rest of the cast!
