UNITED STAR SHIP ENTERPRISE

Space: The Final Frontier…

This is the domain of the Starship Enterprise. Her mission: To explore strange new worlds...to seek out new life and new civilizations...to boldly go where no man has gone before.

Constructed at the San Francisco Fleet Yards, this Constitution-class starship is equipped with two powerful Space Warp engines energized by a state of the art Matter/Anti-matter Reactor. The crew of over four hundred officers and enlisted personnel is a mix of soldiers and scientists. For defense, the Enterprise is armed with high-energy Phaser weapons and photon torpedoes as well as deflector shields. One of her most utilized on-board technologies is the Molecular Transporter System, which allows ingress and egress without the need for airlocks.

Though she’s had several captains, the most famous was Captain James T. Kirk, whose original five-year exploration mission and further exploits have become the stuff of legend in the United Federation of Planets Starfleet.

STAR TREK

The original, iconic science fiction series created by Gene Roddenberry. Though it lasted only three seasons in its initial run, Star Trek has achieved a level of popularity that has lasted for decades and fostered the creation of several spin-off series, movies and books. The original series, starring William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelley, is the story of Captain Jim Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise as they explore the galaxy, conduct diplomatic missions and defend the Federation.

“Not with my ship, you won’t!”

I like the ship, but I admit I would have preferred a more The Cage-like bridge.

Ditto, I though it actually holds up better than the later series design along with the uniforms, and the ship model from The Cage. I also kind of like phaser pistole design they used in the 2 pilots.

If you're inclined to vote anything but "Awesome," you may be hanging out in the wrong corner of the Internet....

I'm the only one who voted "Meh..."

It was neat and impressive for it's time, but for what it is, it's really not much to look at. Stylistically, the Enterprise A had it going on, though I did miss those glowing bassard collectors.

Actually, I expected a couple of "Meh" votes from die-hard TNG fans that think Enterprise-D is da shit...

Well, if they think the Enterprise-D is shit, then why would they vote for the original?

Personally, the Enterprise-D is my favorite Enterprise. but, I'll always love the original simply because she was the first I ever saw.

No, no, not "shit", "da shit" as in "da bomb", as in [WASP] really, really spectacular [/WASP] and thus better than the original. See what I meant?

Personally, the Enterprise-D is my favorite Enterprise.

Yes, like that.

but, I'll always love the original simply because she was the first I ever saw.

Fair enough.

To the two people who said "meh" ... why do you hate freedom?

NCC-1701. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTE.

I'd really like to see all the Manga artists who like super-detailed spacecraft to try their hand at a TOS Enterprise deriviative
