That would be the ultimate insult to the character Wesley Crusher.
Even if he isn't the best character around, he still don't deserve that.
I thought as much. I take it that you're not one of the ultimate Wesley haters and just tolerate him.
I didn't think that Bieber is so unpopular. On the other hand, Bieber fans are unlikely to be trekkies....
Bottom line: Bieber as cameo in the new ST movie, and the people flee from the cinemas/theaters.
I must admit that I did find Wesley a bit annoying when I started watching TNG.
But I could never understand the hatred against him.
As for Bieber, I find him a total no-no as artist who was made famous because he was attractive for teen-age girls , not for his musical skills which he has nothing of.
But what amazes me is his transfomation from overgrown supposed-to-be-cute teen idol to a total slimeball in a couple of years.

As for Chakotay performed by a Swedish woman. Why not as long as she has more personality than the current one, what shouldn't be difficult seen the Viking warrior spirit!
More seriously, Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi would form a good pair (the chemisty betwenn both actors is very present, much more than between Mulgrew and Beltran, IMHO) even if nothing happens between their characters because of Starfleet non-fraternization rules. Otherwise, Tuvok as 1st officer.
Furthermore, I shall see Lt Ro Laren (Michelle Forbes) as Head of the security team. She would fit in this role.
