Sleepy Hollow Season 2 Discussion

He was underutilized while less deserving characters like Hawley got the spotlight. Things could've been a lot better on this show.

So it would put him in with John Noble, and Katia Winter in being pissed off at the direction the show took during the second season.

I'm really disappointed to hear this. I was really hopping we'd get a lot more Irving next season to make up for how little he was in this season, but the opposite is going to be true.

Meh. This show need fewer main characters, not more. I wish they'd stick to Ichabod, Abbie, Jenny and Capt. Irving. When they bring in more, things don't tend to go well.

^I believe Captain Irving isn't coming back, though. So maybe it balances out. (Although losing Irving is not a good thing.)

I think she'll be the first regular to only appear in flashback, unless of course they bring in some kind of time travel shenanigans, which I wouldn't totally rule out with this show.

But I thought the ratings suffered in part due to the lack of Caucasian characters on the show (which is why they probably added Hawley, who was quite boring two-dimensional).

Seriously? That sounds like an even worse idea than Syfy's enforced crossovers of Eureka, Warehouse 13, and Alphas.

Although I might be okay with a Gotham crossover. That show's insane enough that it just might work.

Weird, but whatever. It will probably be fine. I'm more curious about Betsy Ross-- is she going to appear in the present? That would be kind of hard to manage, since we know that she lived her entire life and died in the past.

I was hoping it'd be Person of Interest and Elementary. But CBS hates Person of Interest.

Person of Interest is about to enter its fifth season. No way would that have happened if the network "hated" it. A show that innovative, subversive, and unusual -- not to mention expensive, with its elaborate action and New York location filming -- would never have survived a single season if its network hadn't supported it fully.
