Wreck-It Ralph 2 Signs John C. Reilly to Return!

There has been talk of a Wreck-It Ralph sequel since before the first one came out in 2012 to rave reviews and earned over $470 million in worldwide box office, hailed as “Toy Story with video games.” The film’s director, Rich Moore, has stated that part two will likely find the big-fisted Ralph exploring the worlds of online gaming and console gaming. There have also been discussions with the highly-protective Nintendo to have some of their signature characters (Mario, Luigi, Link, Zelda) share the screen with Ralph & Co

I really like the first one, so I'm happy about this news. :)

As far as animated films are concerned, I thought the first one was a seriously unimpressive miss. I guess it must have made money though if they're looking at a sequel.

Great News for sure.:)

I really liked the first one but I'm really freaking tired of sequels. I thought the first one wrapped everything up very nicely.

I loved the first one, so I'm thrilled by this news. The news story I read said that Disney is negotiating with Nintendo so they can use The Mario Bros. and Link.

The article said $470 million in worldwide box office. Don't really have to guess on that one.

And so if I'm guessing it made money, that might mean what?

Didn't bother reading it? I just saw Wreck it Ralph and remembered how bored I was.

I read that they were allowed to use Mario for the first one but couldn't work him in in a way that added to the story, in other words, the opposite of the methodology of Batman v. Superman adding characters with nothing to do with the story.

I'd really love to see more Callahan and Ralph. Can those characters have kids?

And I apologize in advance to the BvS fans, I wasn't trying to mock the movie so much as say it's a contrast to what Wreck It Ralph was doing.

I'm glad to see them expanding beyond the arcade. Internet gaming is great way to expand the whole interconnected games concept beyond the arcade from the first one.
