It's quite the range of topic considering how many there are. I'd be on the lines of immortality such as a Q. It would be hard to see mortal friends come and go, but at least I wouldn't have to worry about death myself. Plus I'd help other creatures if needed. I guess it's a matter of having being genetically inclined to attitude of said species too.

I would still want to be Human, because as STAR TREK has shown time & again, there are get arounds to our own mortality. The Nexus, for example. Having our brainwaves transferred into an android, or some other machine. There are also some very potent anti-aging drugs to be found out in the Galaxy, as Admiral Jameson soon discovered. Even the Master, himself: Leonardo da Vinci became immortal, with the greatest of ease ...

After what has happened on Trill no one is currently joined. I wonder if they ever start with joining again.

According what we know about the Trill society, almost everyone is keen on being joined. Sadly most of the applicants are rejected.

Not only do I imagine it tremendous fun to perceive the emotions/thoughts of others, but we constantly hear how beautiful and peaceful Betazed supposedly is.

I'd just have to take an extended vacation during the Dominion War.

Bajoran (born post Occupation) and having the opportunity to grow up in a society that takes all these steps towards being a full member of the Federation. Plus you get to wear a neat earring!

Deltan seems like it would be fun. Of course, Deltans are just proto-Betazoids, so it makes sense that these are my top two.
