Yeah. I'm hoping NBC moving the show from Friday to Thursday is a show of confidence. I also hope it will improve the ratings. I know the show doesn't cost NBC much, but I really want to see Fuller fulfill his original vision of the show.

I noticed season 2 had gone up for streaming on Amazon Prime the other day and finally blazed through the whole thing over the last few evenings. While the "last act" of the season did require more than a bit of heroic incompetence on pretty much everyone's part, it remains the most compelling show on TV.

If Abigail is in fact dead I have to say the choice to bring her back just for an extra "fuck you" to Will is honestly a damned waste of potential in a climax already bordering on overstuffed. By the time Hannibal slit her throat I was already pretty well numbed to any further emotional impact.

Smoking weed is more illegal than murder.

I'm strongly beginning to speculate all of what we've seen in Season 3 so far has all taken place in Hannibal's memory palace, and he was actually captured not long after gutting Will. They keep making strong mentions of Hannibal's memory palace, and it would explain some of the stranger aspects of Season 3, such as Bedelia suddenly following Hannibal, as well Hannibal hiding in plain sight without the authorities coming down on him. It would also help explain how Will and Jack Crawford are the only ones capable of tracking Hannibal, let alone are allowed to.

Wow! That is actually a cool idea. Also would explain the overly artistic and dreamlike style of the show at the moment.

It would also explain the rumored time jump later this season. It could be he's all dreaming this as several years have passed.

    I like your theory.

It would also explain how in this day and age he can still be on the run, despite things like cctv and the internet.

So Hannibal's having dreams and hallucinations of Bedelia and Will having dreams and hallucinations? Gah! This show.

I'm pretty sure at the end of the series only about five episodes worth of it will have actually happened, and the rest was bloody deer man hallucination sequences or swimming naked in pools of blood slow-mo nightmare shots.

I love the characters and the artistry and the acting on the show to death, but sometimes the endless Imaginationland segments get to be a bit much.

I don't believe the last three episodes have been a dream. Hannibal really is in Florence and he's killing people, and Jack really is following up on leads.

Some of it is in Will's head, though. Abigail is dead, so he wasn't actually talking to a dead person in the church. A Flesh Stag probably didn't actually come crawling after him either.

It's just not all in Will's head and people who think the entire last three episodes have been a dream are really reaching.

These last two episodes have been a chore to get through. I like the premiere well enough, but I'm starting to lose interest in the show fast. Any chance they had of enticing new viewers or suitors for a fourth season are probably gone by this point.

I may have been exaggerating for effect just slightly. ;)

Shame about the show being cancelled, but no big surprise given the ratings. Oh well. It could be frustrating at times, but it remains beautifully done aesthetically and acting-wise.

Depends on how literally they adapt the ending of Red Dragon, really. Because the only time he's ever referenced again is in The Silence of the Lambs (book), as a severely disfigured alcoholic who repairs boats when he isn't drunk off his ass.

Deadline reports hearing "significant interest" from other outlets already, and suggests Amazon as the one that would make the most sense since they have streaming rights for the first three seasons.

No surprised with the cancellation. After the most recent episodes I was just about ready to quit the show. As others have said, too many dream/imagination scenes. Pretty, but please give me a story to follow.
