Star Wars: Episode VII: The Nerd Rage Awakens

I was about to post the exact same thing. My nerd skills are slipping. :p Anyways, it's great to see those guys back. It looks like they may have added small details to one of the characters' masks to make them look older.

<=== Happy to see them back.

My appreciation for Nien Nunb as only increased over the years. His presence on the Falcon talking in his alien language without subtitles really adds to the atmosphere of the space battle. What's really neat about the way they did that is that you get a pretty clear sense of what he's saying, just by listening to Lando's end of their conversations, yet Lando isn't just repeating what he said. That was really well done.

I'd like to see that running gag (or whatever) continue, where his speech is in an alien language but without subtitles.

Ackbar's outfit kind of looks like a mix between the ANH and ROTJ uniforms for the rebels, kind of like Leia's new look. I'm guessing the second pic with Phasma might be unfinished, it kind of has a rough and slightly compressed look to it. Kind of reminds me a bit of the live action cut scenes in the 90s Star Wars video games

Han Solo sitting at the controls of the Millennium Falcon. I'm glad I've lived long enough to once again see this image. :)

It's almost as if we were in 1983 all over again (I just wish I still had my hair and some other things I had at that age).

Minor point, but I'm glad to see his leather jacket actually appears more blue on screen, instead of the Indy brown it did on the Vanity Fair cover.

It's done really well with Artoo and Threepio too. ;)
