I will do that - and rename it to match the review threads, although I think the database now runs off a tag rather than the titles (I'll add the tag too )

btw - although there were recent posts, the original thread was started back in 2011. In case anyone was wondering why Juan Angel Ortiz was suddenly starting threads again!

Not a comedy, by any stretch of the imagination (attempted genocide is never funny)

I'm up to Chapter 11 on this book, and so far I'm finding that it is the type of book where there are times where I would really like to put it down, but then something pops up that makes me want to continue reading just to find out what happens.

And this book, in certain scenes, it feels like you could pluck out Kirk, Chekov, Uhura and Scotty, and replace them with Picard, Wesley, Yar and LaForge. There are even scenes with Spock where it could be Riker!

So far the stand out scene was when Kirk had to get off the bridge and the only excuse he can come up with is that he needs to "mate" with Uhura.

I finished this book the other day. While there were scenes that were funny, overall I would say that the book was not the best, and at times the story just seemed to drag.
