What's that you ask, why am I doing this at 3 am? Because of reasons! :P

Favorites:
2nd Row, Left: William Shatner breaking Roddenberry's rule and smoking on the set of TOS.

3rd Row, Left: Q of Borg (from the computer game "Star Trek: Borg")

4th Row, Center: Leonard Nimoy in costume as Spock with his then-wife.

5th Row, Left: Gene Roddenberry and Jonathan Frakes with #1 Jerseys.

I wish Q appeared full time in that Borg uniform. Could have brought more menace to the character.

Note that it's a TNG borg, that looks like something someone made in their garage with old parts of washing machines, toasters, and maybe a motorcycle.

The Voyager Borg have a more convincing high-tech look to them.

What a great range of diverse shots! Thank you. I haven't seen that shot of Frakes and Gene with their shirts before. I've been unconvinced for a long about that shot of Kirk smoking. For me it looks odd somehow. If you cover up the cigarette hand the perspective looks right, but wrong with the cigarette.

Seeing LeVar Burton on set without the trek gear, I wish Geordi didn't have a visor.

He's a handsome fella. So strange that he got a job requiring his eyes be covered for 7 years.

Actually, same comment for Marina - she has beautiful eyes, but got a job requiring big black contacts.

They should count their blessings that they didn't have to wear heavy make up like Dorn or Shimerman.

This thread is always a pleasure. My favourites this time around:

4th row, Left: Nimoy chillin' with the bay behind him;

4th row, Centre: Nimoy chillin' with his first wife; and

6th row, Left: The ever lovely Jeri Ryan with Manu Intiraymi.

Correction: 4th row center is not Leonard's wife. It is Star Trek fan Peggye Vickers visiting the set in 1967. Peggye was president of the Leonard Nimoy Association of Fans.

Here is a contemporaneous picture of Leonard's then-wife, Sandra:

TNG borg looked better than First Contact+. More clinical and techy, not slime and zombie.

I haven't ever seen that Borgified Q before! I wonder how many hours DeLancie had to sit in the makeup chair for a scene that never made it to the screen?

It did; just the computer screen. The CD-Rom interactive movie/game "Star Trek: Borg" ;)
