Ant-Man: Info, Pics, Rumors, Casting and Details till release

Terrible poster. Why the hell is he is wearing a mask?

They CONSTANTLY are having Iron Man and Cap without their helmets on the posters for good reason, to bring in the actor's fans.

Paul Rudd's face is on the poster, so if that's all it takes to bring some people in...mission accomplished.

Why the hell is who wearing a mask? Ant-Man? It's because you can see him right behind the suit without a mask. That's the one complaint that isn't valid in a sea of valid complaints.

I guess I would have preferred Rudd in suit while holding helmet or something.

That poster looks like an amateur made it.

I wonder how many people there are out there who will see a movie just for Paul Rudd, but not if he wears a helmet in the film. ;)

No argument there.

The new Ant-Man Comic is fantastic. :)

I like comedy comics.

Oh.

I was operating off very old information. Until seconds ago I thought that Rashida Jones was playing Janet Van Dien. Casting Evangeline Lilly in her place instead as Hope Van Dien creates a much more sexy Dangerous Bond like Block Buster than the Romcom I thought I was signing up for.

I like the "from the studio that brought you Guardians of the Galaxy" tag at the top. It's like they're saying, "No one will see or care about this movie because it's kinda-weak seeming. Mention Guardians of the Galaxy! That was popular!"

What if you take Ant-Man out of the movie?

And it's just the story of Yellow Jacket killing a few million people to fix the stock market in his favour.

I do think it's about time that we saw a movie were a super villain wins.

Either because no Super Hero magically appears at the 11th hour, cocking up years of meticulous master planning, or because the Super Hero who magically appears at the 11th hour, cocking up years of meticulous master planning is instantly murdered by a plan that accounted for an idiot stumbling into super powers and then bumbling into the %1 likelihood of saving the day, like say for instance "inheriting mystical proton torpedo aiming powers the day before you have to make a tench run on the ####ing Death Star".

I just want to fast forward through this movie to Scott Lang Leading the Fantastic Four.

Good times :)

Actually? Scott walked out of that book with a pink haired Rockstar Girlfriend, that only a year later is nowhere to be seen in his new ongoing title. What's up with that?

Well, it worked for the Guardians of the Galaxy.

That would be a cute way of advertising a film....

From the Studio That's Bringing You Guardians of the Galaxy
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Yes, funny. My first reaction was to tell that same joke. But I let it go. I'm guessing that (some of) the Guardians posters said "From the Studio that brought you the Avengers" so lets google to see... Yup.

Yes because no other movie poster in the history of movie posters has ever relied on past successes to sell a movie.

Paul Rudd's Ant-Man is joining the legion of characters who will be appearing in Captain America(3) Civil War.

After his debut in Marvel’s “Ant-Man” on July 17, 2015, Paul Rudd (“Ant-Man,” ”Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues”) will make his first appearance alongside the Avengers as Scott Lang/Ant-Man in “Captain America: Civil War.”

Should I be scared...? ;)

They could still use that joke for the sequel by getting humorously obvious:

From the studio that brought you Guardians of the Galaxy
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY II

...or perhaps a little hubris:

From the studio that brought you Guardians of the Galaxy and is planning to bring you Guardians of the Galaxy III
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY II

Two years ago who'd have thought that GotG would be being used to prop up anything.

I just noticed that Ant-Man is on the poster 3 different times. Once full size in the suit, once shrunk down standing on the Marvel logo, and then as Scott Lang wearing a hoodie.

I've seen the trailer the past couple of nights and it looks good and it'll be a nice compliment to the big action movie Age Of Ultron is.
