Covers and blurbs for Seekers #3 and #4

I really hope Ward and Dilmore deliver. I adore what they did on Vanguard, but the rest of their combined and solo efforts have been less then stellar for me.

The blurbs and covers for both novels really do get me excited. :D

:cool:I really like the cover art and look forward to getting to read new Seeker novels .I really like the coverart with the crew Spacewalking on a derelict alien ship.

I've gone on record as being burned out on exploration / planet of the week / 'boldly going' stories.

Yet I find myself looking forward to these...

Beautiful covers for both, but the silvery luster on those space suits in the image for volume "4" really strums a chord in my love for the sci-fi covers of yore.

If those are meant to be Endeavour crew-members, I wonder if the person kneeling with the tricorder is Stephen Klisiewicz.

Based on the blurb Long Shot sounds a lot like "Sargasso Sector" (SCE). I'm going to bet that while the basic idea is similar that it will play out quite differently

I think you may be right. In looking at the larger version of the cover available on The Trek Collective, the nameplate on the helmet isn't clearly readable, but the first three letters could definitely be "KLI".

(Although that's not a tricorder he's holding. It's one of these doodads.)

Those are some great covers, and the stories sound really good too. I'm down to the last novel and the followup novella, for Vanguard so I should be able to start Seekers sometime soon.

That's a hell of a last novel, enjoy it! :)
