Though they all have there plus sides (even Neelix), I'd probably only hang out with Tom learning maneuvers or playing something with him in the holodeck, or the Doctor. He'd be a good mentor and he's always the center of attention for me whether it be with song, performance, or in a lecture.

The rest of the gang would be too much for me.

I don´t know, if the mods can help you with correcting it.

As for my vote: I voted for Paris (despite not being fond of Captain Proton). Before he got involved with Torres. Who wants a jealous Klingon on ones throat?

I think Paris is fun. He is interested in Earth history. He could show me how to fly a shuttle. We could create another holodeck tavern to hang out.....

Tom Paris, definitely Tom. He would be a blast to hang out with, although we would probably get in trouble. Where Tom went, trouble followed.

Although, there's one kind of trouble I wouldn't mind getting in with Tom. Those baby blue eyes could melt any heart.

If there was more than one choice, I would like to have a conversation with Janeway, she's so smart. Chakotay would be someone to whom I could tell my problems and he would give good advice. I would also like to hang out with B'Elanna, Harry and the Doctor. Seven I would watch from afar, she's a bit intimidating.

I don´t know, if the mods can help you with correcting it...

Mods can't fix polls after they are made. The only way to fix it is to tell a mod to close this thread and redo it.

I think I'd get along well with Harry or the Doctor. Tom would get on my nerves. Janeway, Tuvok and Seven - too severe. Kes - I dunno, it's hard to believe that somebody two years old would have very many interesting insights.

In addition to Paris I voted for the Doctor and Neelix.

As a former doctor´s assistant I´d have to stick with the Doc as he constantly looks for personnel in sickbay.

Neelix is the fun person, more than Seven. Seven is eye candy.

You have forgotten Naomi and Samantha Wildman, Lt. Carey, Lon Suder and Icheb . Icheb definitely needs more fun. Seven is unfit as fun-teacher. And Carey is quite bland.

Definitely Tom, for reasons others have mentioned. Followed by the Doctor in which we would converse about literature and art. Naomi and Neelix would be a lot of fun too!

This turned into a tricky question for me.

If I had played this strictly by the rules, it would have been Paris. I think he's a funny guy to hang out with, drink some beers or so. He also got thae same twisted humor as I have. We should probably drive the other guests at Sandrine's crazy.

But since Kes looked very alone there in this corner, she got my vote!

I of course did not read the post or notice you could vote for more than one and I assumed that it meant who I would hang out with in my city today. I voted Harry. Everyone else is either too stuffy, intimidating or not "hnaging out" material.

I once again voted for Tom and the Doctor. I almost voted for Neelix this time because even though he wasn't my favorite character, my disliking of him would only make him try harder to put a smile on my face. His mannerisms would probably lose me though. He didn't know what a bath was until he joined Voyager. I imagine I'll experience a bunch of culture shock with him.

At first glance, Paris seems like the obvious choice because he has a more fleshed out personality but then you realise that's because he's the only character that really ever got any hobbies or interests in the show (hobbies and interests that usually pushed the plot along) vintage cars, TV, Mars missions, racing ships, etc

I'm not sure I could tell you what the other crews interests were?

I also voted Seska cos lots of trouble to be had there

I'm not sure I could tell you what the other crews interests were?

Harry played the clarinet and got Tuvok to tutor him in Kal-Toh. He and Tom teamed up to create holoprograms.

Seven played the piano, was into cooking, and sang.

The Doctor sang, played golf, wrote bad holoprograms, and was into photography.

Janeway liked insipid "romance" holoprograms and hanging out with Leonardo da Vinci in his studio.

Tuvok played Kal-Toh and tutored Harry and Icheb (I assume it must have been fun in some way for him).

Naomi liked Flotter holoprograms when she was younger.

Chakotay... ? Doesn't really matter, since pretty much nothing could make him interesting.

B'Elanna... ?


I'd hang out with Tom (because he's fun), the Doctor (because I enjoy listening to classical music) and Seven (because she's interesting).

I voted Paris because he's most likely to geek out with me and watch Star Trek.

Plus process of elimination brings it down to Paris and Kim. It is a tough call between those two. Paris would insist on choosing the activity and Kim would do whatever I wanted to do.

Anyone else except maybe Neelix and Kes would either be not interested in having fun, or would be incredibly controlling. I guess they would be okay even if Neelix would be annoying because they're open to trying new things.
