PICTURE POST II!

I was shooting in aperture priority so by the time I switched over to shutter priority and adjusted the shutter speed they were already over the fence.

Should look about like this:

Detached garage in the back with a full suite for my mother.

I really like it, I too love the second floor porch off the master bedroom. The only change I would have made is to swap the location of the dinning room and kitchen. It would opened the kitchen a little more to the living room. However I really can complain, a finely designed home. Have you guys settled on outside colors yet? Would love to see pictures of the place as it progresses. Good luck Squiggy, there is nothing like owning a brand new home.

thanks AM. i took almost 100 pics today. tried to pick some of my favorites to share. that picture of water is my favorite. may sound weird, but thats the best pic of water i've ever took.

Doesn't sound weird at all. Water is *very* tough to capture (at least for me). I find longer exposures work best ... but that's tough to do in daylight.

And congrats on the big photo day, too! It's always fun to come back with a trove of captures and go through them. I tend to go overboard (spending 4-6 hours on a photoshoot, ending up with 700-800 captures) ... but there's nothing like coming home, importing the images ... and seeing the results of being out there shooting.

Especially when the results are like the ones you've shared.

100 is a lot for me. usually i'm out hiking with friends and don't have a great deal of time to shoot. but i do love uploading my pics, seeing how they turned out, what was blurry and the surprise beauty pics.

and again, thanks for the kind words.

Those are lovely, Saga! You have a real eye for composition.

This morning, I cleaned out my computer. It was running slow, and hot, especially since I've been gearing up in the folding@home project. Now, though, it's nice and clean. I mean, sure, it's 6 years old, but it looks new! :D

Our High School Observatory held another of their family open houses last night. We try to make every one of them. Cultivating the love of science in my children is important to me. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening, 60 degrees and crystal clear skies.

Ian looking through one of the smaller telescopes at the surface of the moon, he could make out craters.

Ian using the large telescope to check out Jupiter. He was so excited about this, Jupiter is his favorite planet. He loved seeing the bands of color from the storms, he could also see four of Jupiters moons. Unfortunately the giant eye was on the backside.
