Guy Gardener wrote a post once in which he called Harry "Karry Him", obviously referring to his bad habit of being injured and ill-treated. I did find that a bit funny.

Note that I actually like Harry. He could have been used better in the series.

It was Harry's turn to talk to his parents during the super micro wormhole phone box event. He was looking forward to seeing them very much.

With only a few minutes available Harry's mom wanted to get the important stuff said first. "Oh Harry," she tearfully told him, "you are my Favorite Son."

Harry blanched, then vomited. Then ran from the room.

Naturally Mrs. Kim was very upset and by using her extraordinary extortionary guilt inducing powers she got a message to the Captain who promptly gave up her opportunity to make a phone call to Molly and sent Mrs. Kim a complete record of the Taresian incident.

After that Harry was no longer Mrs. Kim's favorite son.

Harry Kim is a joke. No other punchline needed. Except that the joke stopped being funny after Kes was dropped instead of him after that dimwit article called the actor who played him "sexy" despite Wang looking like a 12-year old on Voyager.

Harry....is simply not my type, but neither are most Star Trek guys, the only 3 I find attractive are Tom, Bashir and Reed (Brent Spiner wasn't bad, but the Data makeup made him much less attractive)

This isn't characters I list as ones I like mind you, I like Reed immensely but don't find him attractive.

I thought Bashir was very attractive many years ago when I first watched DS9 but now, meh.
