Avengers 2 News, Rumors, Etc. Pictures until release...

Joss reveals Avengers 2 running length: one minute shorter than the first one at 142 minutes. He said there was an HOUR of cut scenes. Can't wait for the blu ray! :D

It's almost Hammer Time!

Man, I wish they would stop putting out all of these new TV spots and stuff. I swore I was going to stop watching any more previews, the one exception I'm making is for BTS stuff like the video about the camaraderie on set.

EDIT: Newsarama has some new character descriptions for AoU, including Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Ultron, The Vision, Baron Struck, Dr. Helen Cho (possibly the mystery woman from the first trailer) and Ulysses Klaw.

So, they must come together (which they did in the first film) to fight a disposable army (like they did in the first film) while cracking wise after a good shot (like they did in the first film) before many more of these disposable enemies swarm in (just like it happened in the first film).

Maybe once they kill Ultron himself, his disposable robot army will also self destruct (just like the first film)

I think I've seen this film already.. and when I did, the novelty factor was still intact.

New scenes on IMDB (under the header Exclusive new Scenes)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2395427/?ref_=hm_avengers_i_1

Some stuff i haven't seen before such as a new Quinjet (full view and not just pieces of it), Cap has an (apparently Stark designed) cool shield arm thingy that keeps the shield in place and everybody gets to be a badass for a few seconds.

At this point I think it's best to wait for the movie itself. Just trying to avoid any major stories ahead of the release now, heh.

Flying Spaghetti Monster, wait, are you trying to say you don't like the MCU movies??! Oh my god, why didn't you say so sooner?!!

Semi new trailer-

I just quickly skimmed it, a little bit of new footage and lines. But yeah I'm gonna try avoid most things about the movie from now on too. Definitely don't wanna be spoiled what the post-credits scene may be for example, as I was for Winter Soldier and Guardians.

17 days to go here :D

^And of course in cinematic fashion, Ultron does not use his lasers to just fatally knock a shield-less Cap into traffic. Cap must survive long enough to get his shield back.

In other words, you just saved yourself the price of a ticket, and the rest of us your review that we probably didn't want to read anyway.

Good job! :techman:

I'm guessing Ultron may not have upgraded himself to have death rays yet. The footage shows that Ultron is damaged by Captain Americas shield in both the shoulder/chest and right arm. So I'm guessing it's before he gets his vibranium armour upgrade.

You forgot something Flying Spaghetti Monster. You forgot the Avengers have to bicker and argue, before they pull it together for the final battle. Ya know, just like in the first movie.

*See the scenes of Thor choking Tony or the scene of Steve ripping logs apart with his bare hands while talking to Tony*

You're still gonna watch it in cinemas, and then do a blow by blow/scene by scene despcription of just wrong it was and how come we just don't understand that. Looking forward to skipping those posts.

It doesn't bother me because in the places I live you usually never get to actually see the end credits. I was kicked out of the theatre after the Thanos reveal in Avengers.

Well, now. That's a sure-fire way to get people to sit through the credits if I ever heard one.

Even though Whedon said it's not a fake-out, you have to know that hardcore fans will sit and wait for it.

I'm looking forward to the crapfest.

I would guess if he does change his mind and ads a final credits sequence it will be announced prior to the release of the movie. The "surprise" factor can only work so often. Although if I were Whedon, I would do a scene with me talking to the camera -- "So, now that you see my face up here I bet you all feel rewarded. Meanwhile your dates have all gone home."
