The Flash - Season 1

I'm super excited for the Trickster episode. The Trickster episodes were the two best episodes of the 90s series, and Hamil looks like he's going to be awesome in it. The other episodes look cool too, though. Golden Glider should be interesting, and they'll probably do something interesting with Weather Wizard.

I think it was supposed to be a nod to the Weather Wizard's wand in the comics.

Well, the Reverse-Shit is hitting the fan now....

ETA: And the Forward-Shit as well....

Well it looks like Barry found out what happens when hit 88 MPH. :techman: I certainly hope they don't hit the reset button, but I can't see them leaving Sisco dead. Still it was a pretty eventful ep. none the less.

It's all there in the preview for the next episode....I thought this one felt a little too season finale-ish.

I thought that woman who was loudly waiting for her cab or whatever was a little in our face the first time...turns out there was a reason.

Holy shit! That was the best episode ever! I was totally blown away that it felt like a season finale. Iris tells Barry she reciprocates his feelings for her. Barry reveals his secret identity to Iris. Wells finally reveals he's Professor Zoom. Barry travels back in time. Whoa. Looks like Cisco survives.

The reveal of Reverse-Flash/Dr.Wells/Eobard Thawne's full identity was cool, but it is aggravating that they appear to be erasing it in next week's episode. I'm really hoping that if they do reset things, then that they at least leave some of the big discoveries alone. At least we will now know exactly what's actually going on with Thawne/Wells even if Cisco forgets. That was a pretty great scene with Barry and Iris. It will be interesting to see what he does if his time travel ends up erasing her telling him that she feels the same way he does. I realized since he's time traveling, he should remember it, even if it never happens the second time around.

What should he have been doing to save the city rather going bowling until Iris realizes that she loves him?

Laying in wait to stop the Weather Wizard from killing the coroner and the entire sequence of events that spun out from that ending the destruction of the city?

Almost certainly.

Which would mean standing up Linda, if he didn't have the foresight (Chuckle) to raincheck.

Wells is going to get a blaring woody the instant Barry admits that he's time travelled.

What's going to stop the editor bloke from asking iris to ask Barry if Wells is a psycho that, alerts Cisco from...

Wells is not as stuck in time as he should be.

It's possible that he ignored the timelines changing?

Which again might mean double Wells, or single Wells with two sets of memories. Although he'd probably only get the new memories synchronously with the present of the other timeline, and not the complete two days in a Butterfly-Effect-like mass dump.

Wouldn't it be great in real life if we could sense that a time travel event was about to turn back everything, if too many life changing events happen simultaneously?

Even keeping Joe's broken leg broken for the next 10 episodes would been a pain in the ass from a production view point.

Maybe by season 4 Barry begins to notice that every time that Iris and he are about to get together that time travel conspires against them, because he's not an idiot.

The season ender is when he saves or does not save his mother after Barry perfects time travel next week, and then returns to t he present to find it irrevocably changed, or he's sad that his mum is still dead, but happy that he got to see her one more time.

It's also possible that Nora might steal from Iris' story, that she's a soul migrating futurian

No but seriously, there is no reason not to rip off Flash Point (A bad future is created by saving Nora where the world ends in a super hero war.) for the season ender.

Now that we know that the Reverse Flash's attempt on Nora is from when he was younger, and not when he was a old man (now, mid 40s is old. Sorry.) Barry can deal with Harrison in the present first before he "tires" to save Nora in the past.

I just literally quivered (no pun intended) thinking about the squeal Felicity is going to make when Barry mentions to her in passing that he broke the time barrier.

Aw crap, after all those great scenes I will be really pissed if they hit the reset button.

Pretty much.

They are not going to leave Cisco for dead thats for sure and I imagine Wells secret will still come out as thats probably the only way for Barry to save Cisco. My BIG problem is once The Flash learns to well "time travel" then whats to stop him doing it every time the outcome of any situation is not preferable ?

Barry is two or three days in the past, Sisco's fate is uncertain.

As long as no one tells Sisco that Harry might have killed Stagg, he's fine.

But, that information is less than a week from coming out in the News Paper.

Sisco was only killed because he alone knew.

If Barry figures it out first, or Barry is with Sisco when Sisco figures it out then Sisco is safe.
