People in Janeway's Quarters

I have seen multiple sources that confirm that Janeway's quarters are located at the very front of deck 3 (there is a big set of windows there).

I just realized that if you watch the beginning of "Good Shepherd" there are at least two people hanging around in her quarters while she is up in her ready room.

Who do you suppose was chillin' in the captains quarters while she wasn't there? :P

The assignment of a captain's yeoman had pretty much phased out by the early 24th century. Kathryn Janeway was known for a command style unlike many of her contemporaries.

Once in the Delta Quadrant, she tried to maintain Starfleet tradition, and one way to do this was through reactivating the personal yeoman classification. She had two, assigned in 12 hour shifts, so sometimes they'd be in her quarters at the same time.

When not performing various duties, they were kept bound and gagged in the bathing area. Fifty Shades of Janeway.

I disagree...I think they made a mistake. I think it's the observation deck. which is basically the mess hall set without the furniture.

look at how the windows are spaced out too, btw. deck three has straight windows with no bulkhead break. Janeway has four windows, Tuvok has three. Observations has five. I'm convinced they don t know their design :-P

That,s deck two. Look at deck three. Here they have slides to depicting janeway's quarters yet in other episodes it's the observation deck. Since the observations deck is identical to the mess hall it'd logically go under it and in front-not Janeway's quarter's but whatever. Dumb designers...

Also...for being in front of the ship you'd think in Shattered they'd blue screen Janeway's windows. You should have been able to see that nebula that zapped them or see bright flash in her room as red alert was called. Yeah yeah, budget and lack of attention to detail :-) I should have been on the design team. I would have caught that but then again I was only 15 :-)

Doug Drexler confirmed that the five windows on deck 3 are indeed the captain's quarters.
