This is why the only Batman book I still read is Batman 66. It might be campy but at least Batman is still a proactive hero.

It's a comedy book; you're not supposed to take it seriously.

The current Batman lineup is the best it's ever been from where I'm sitting. They have something for almost every type of fan of Batman or his accomplices. Great lineups, great writers, many of whom are new, and a nice vision.

Good comedy should come from establish characters acting the way you expect them to not, in ways convenient for a lazy writer
