I was just watching "Birthright, Part I", a sixth season episode (2369), and Worf says that Mogh died 25 years ago. But the Khitomer Massacre occurred in 2346. Did the producers mistakenly think that Mogh died at Narendra III in 2344?
I'd say 23 years is close enough. Most people round up or down when speaking of something where specificity isn't needed.

All lighter skinned actors portraying Klingons have dark makeup applied, going back to TOS too.

That's right! Particularly in that episode where they were all on the same ship fighting to feed some Entity. They all looked like they had charcoal on their faces.
