Does the new fancy TV properly orient the decks?

    Me too.

It's my favorite film (it jockeys for position with ST09)! It has been ever since my parents bought it for my birthday back in the early 90s. Our first VHS tape was "The Shakiest Gun in the West," and our second was "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier." Ever since then, it has held a very special place in my heart.

    Thanks, and I agree! :D

Unfortunately, it lacks a chroniton capacitor by which to go back in time and adjust the deck numbers. :(

That being said, shit's about to go down, yo:

What does God need with a 32" TV?

A stand that supports at least 25 lbs., and an available power outlet.

Sybok heartily laughs at our inferior television screens.

ST:V is fantastic! People who hate it just don't want to be happy. It's a romp and a half.

Amen. I would love to see it get some TLC from Paramount, but that window of opportunity has likely long since passed.

It's much better and a lot more original and interesting than Nemesis, I'll give it that much.

Shatner, for all his flaws, knew how to direct his compatriots. The character scenes are some of the best in Star Trek, hands down.

    So true.

TFF veers between sublime moments and clumsily-executed mediocrity, but the good scenes and sequences are very good.

Shatner wasn't left much to work with, but what he did have he directed the hell out of it.

He could have become a solid filmmaker had he chosen to.

It's a new year, I just got a new job, so I figured it was time for a new haircut.

I , quite honestly, enjoy all the TOS films, including TFF. None of them are perfect but when I put one of them on and see the crew all together it just makes me happy - flaws and all.

    Nice picture on that TV.

I too, am watching all the Star Trek movies right now, as a way of entertaining myself. Are you watching them one a day like I am?

    Today was Star Trek VI.

I've never been much of a dijon mustard kinda guy but I can wholeheartedly support dipping vegetables into a sauce or condiment of some kind (preferably a sort of zesty ranch).

    I just got that.
See, to me that's not so much a "sauce" as it is a "dressing."
