I am sorry but I find this highly speculative. Plus I think Tom would have been a little more upset than he was if he had suspected that his doppelganger had slept with the woman of his life. I am sorry but I just don't buy it.
Doesn't matter if you buy it or not. It's definitely not speculative.....it's blatantly implied. How hard would it have been to stick five more seconds onto the end of the kissing scene where B'Ellanna could maybe push him away and say....."
i need to get back to work"...or something similar. Taking the position that it didn't happen seems far more speculative to me based on what we see in the episode
Seems to me that the writers clearly want us to think it happened. Why bother with the innuendo if it didn't. Doesn't mean it did but if it didn't then it was certainly odd way to present the whole thing to us
The way someone does sex is very personal, much like a thumbprint. Had he actually slept with her, she might have realized that he was someone else.
Steth clearly wasn't that concerned about being found out (his interactions with other crew would suggest so) so he wouldn't be too worried about being outed that way and B'Ellanna could only find out by using your fingerprint sex method....IF she actually had sex with him
I think "Extreme Risk" is starting to make some sense now
