(I haven't seen this posted yet but if it has, sorry to duplicate.) I understand that Bruce Wayne tried to buy Machinima to ensure Batman's victory in these short films, but sadly, it didn't work out. Yeah I just saw that. Surprisingly pretty awesome, and with a badass ending I was definitely not expecting. Given the quality, the thing must have cost a small fortune to make.
Bat In The Sun has come a long way. I'd like to see what Aaron could do with a budget. And I love Kevin Porter as Batman.
That is pretty wild. The "VS" videos are always a lot of fun. ...of course, Force-enhanced skills would make short work of Batman.... just sayin'
The Force. It's long been established that Superman can't fight magic. Batman knows this, and goes in with everything he has to defeat Vader. That's why I think we haven't seen the real ending to this Beatdown. Batman wouldn't go in alone. The fact that Oracle was online tells me that there is more that we don't know. Or, I could be wrong and Batman just got his ass handed to him. But I choose not to believe it.
If Batman and Darth Vader were in the same room fighting, Vader would beat Bats without effort, though I don't think that's the way Batman would have taken him. An EMP might have been used but he wouldn't be so direct in his assault, especially with garbage chutes he can work with.
A broken neck just pisses Batman off. Someone will punch it back into place for him and he'll be right as rain. That was silly but a lot of fun, and surprisingly well-made.
When Batman fired up that lightsaber, I got the distinct feeling that I was seeing something I had waited for my entire life without knowing it. Guess I can die now.
I get the feeling that all the lightsaber cuts probably knocked out whatever was keeping Superman in check. Vader is weakened and a dead Batman would likely anger Superman. Angry Superman forgets about keeping the powers low to avoid killing people. That's one dead Death Star.
Good news, everyone! I hear that they're working on the alternate ending--the real ending--to be released soon.
Logically, that ended the way it should have ended. Even so, on a pure emotional level, that isn't the way I wanted it to end. Well put, old chum.
