Post A Brief TOS Dialogue Line--Let Others Identify The Episode

May I say I have not thoroughly enjoyed serving with humans!
JB

Don't think anyone has got this one from a few weeks back yet!
JB:guffaw:

Day of the Dove

JIM!!! That's an order, Scotty!( An easy one but we'll see...)
JB

Nobody has got this one either despite it being easy or maybe that's why?
JB;)

Mirror, Mirror. That was too easy. That came out wrong, it was a good line, just that's the only time on the series Scotty called Jim that on screen.

How about this one?

SPOCK: Kill it, Captain, quickly.

I was going to say Spock, talking about Nancy the Salt Vampire - but I think he says "shoot it" on that occasion instead...

So I'm popping for "Devil In The Dark" instead :)

Correct!

Actually, Spock was addressing the Doctor, not the Captain with the Salt Sucker. We can call it the Chupasal.

Ah yes, that's right. It was spoken with un-Spock-like enthusiasm, as I recall.

She's killing the Captain, shoot it Doctor, quickly!

This..SMACK!...is not...SMACK!..Nancy...SMACK!
Classic scene :)

Let's see if I can come up with a somewhat challenging quote...

"Bones, ever hear of a doomsday machine?"
Nah, maybe not. :) How about...

"The President...and Edith Keeler..."
Hmm, scratch that one, too. Okay, how about this one...

"I hope you'll take the opportunity to know more about the Federation through it's best representatives... my crew."

I guess Journey to Babel.

Day of the Dove.

Try this: "My crew is sworn to secrecy."

I posted Day of the Dove 2 days ago. But we aren't very organized, so I'm just pointing it out in a friendly manner, johnnybear never said I was right or not.

How about Kirk to Lenore in The Conscience of the King?

Sorry, Marsden, yes you're correct! I think I just ran through these very quickly this morning....

I was thinking about the organizational thing myself. How about the new quotes go in bold, or something, to help them pop out in the crowd? Just a thought.

And nope, it wasn't Journey to Babel!

Sorry. The line was just reposted yesterday, so I didn't realize that it already had an answer.

Sorry, no. Right season, though!

Man, two strikes in a row.

I don't care, though, :techman: this is too much fun. :techman:

Bold sounds good, I was quoting the post to keep the question with the answer, but that works for me too. I just don't want to make it regimented, rules can hurt fun. :(

So don't be a Herbert and reach!

Someone already suggested JTB, but is that right? It seems more like what Kirk said to Commissioner Bele in LTBYLB
