Avengers 2 News, Rumors, Etc. Pictures until release...

In the trailer with the hammer pulling scene at the beginning, who's the woman in the blue dress sitting to Natasha's left and Thor's right? She's only seen from the side in one long shot when they're all laughing, and it's not Natasha or Hill.

I'm going with Jane Foster, especially since she's sitting by Thor.

And what character would that be?

Also, you can get it straight from the Tube:

It is. They are. At least thus far, the role has been given almost zero meat. And in the case of the scene in question he isn't even doing any acting. It is like Applebee's hiring a renowned Michelin-starred chef to stand in a kitchen all day for a few shots in a commercial. He agreed to it, he is getting paid for it, but it is still a waste of his talents.

I could understand it if he felt a bit stupid filming Thor 1. For all he knew the Iron Man movies could have been a fluke and this one could and have been a huge flop, and he'd be left in a crummy movie in a ridiculous costume. (Obviously it wasn't though.)
But after the massive success of the movies, especially the huuuuge success of the first Avengers, he must know it's gonna be a major box office deal and will bring the attention of his work to the widest audience possible.
And also I imagine they pay fairly well too. So yeah...

I think people are being a bit harsh on him. From what I read on IGN it sounded like he was mostly speaking about how tough it was to shift from playing Mandela straight to filming his scenes for Thor 2.

Bullshit. He's just being a douche.

why? Because he had the nerve to speak his mind about the holy Marvel universe where every actor would sell his soul to be a part of?

The way he describes it they barely needed him and it sure was no acting scene at all.

We always forget that for actors it's usually a job.. those who made it in the business and can choose their roles often do so because there is something in the story or character that interests them but they are not above making some easy or quick money.

Just look at Sir Ben Kingsley.. he played Gandhi and he also starred in an Uwe Boll movie.

So if he speaks his mind he's free to do so.. it's a free world He might need to live with the consequences if the upper management of Marvel is vindictive and doesn't like an actor mouthing off but i get the feeling Elba might do just fine without the Heimdall role.
