Who wants to se ST Generations In the Theater?!?!

Twenty years ago, as of two weeks and four days from now.

GNDN: It wasn't so long ago. ...It couldn't have been more than....
REALITY: Twenty years, sir.
GNDN: Twenty years?
REALITY: Absolutely.
GNDN: Incredible.

And yeah, I was there...

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing any of the Trek movies on the big screen again. Though my preference would be for the first three TOS films.

Oh no, has it really been 20 years already?

I'd rather see The Best of Both Worlds or All Good Things on the big screen, or even The Menagerie.

Me too. From Four onwards, I've definitely seen them all at the cinema. I know I missed One & Two at the cinema. Three I'm not quite sure.

I've seen all the Trek movies on the big screen - except the most recent. Couldn't be bothered with that one. Still, 20 years.... shocking! :wtf:

If it were playing here on the big screen I would most probably go see it again. It is hard to believe how the time has passed, though.

Tell me abut it! I was a wet behind the ears 24 year old kid then. Now I'm a wet behind the ears 44 year old old man....

Unless this is going to be a director's cut where the Enterprise-D doesn't get destroyed, Kirk doesn't get killed, and Data doesn't act like a moron, then I'm all for it.

What an awful movie. It was basically an episode of TNG.

That was really the problem with TNG movies. They were either written by the people who wrote the TV series or they were written by lame B movie writers who had no idea how to write Star Trek.

I'm not a huge fan of AbramsTrek, but at least he has some vague idea what Star Trek is about. He, at the very minimum, has a working understanding of the characters and what makes them appealing. They didn't just throw an action movie writer at a cast of 60 year olds in a cerebral franchise.

once was enough. especially at the rates they charge these days. And watching Guinan on a carousel talking to Picardo...zzzzz.....

I would go see any Star Trek Anything on the Big Screen

Yes, even, "Trekkies"

Though I would probably close my eyes for that.

love to see the directors cut of the motion picture on the big screen.

It was basically an episode of TNG.
not exactly using that term, but i view what you seem to be describing as a detriment as an actual advantage.

the movie didn't try to be huge, and there wasn't another "earth's going to be attacked/destroyed" threat. it was a good story, with good performances.

:)
