Once Upon A Time Season 4

I really like Anna's character. She's brave and has a good heart. She's gone on this adventure to find the truth about their parents' quest all because she cares about her sister Elsa.

Because of her good intentions, she didn't want to put the potion into the old apprentice's tea, not knowing what it would do to the old man (although Rumple exploited her kind nature to get what he wanted). Toward the end, she got the upper hand by temporarily getting hold of Rumple's dagger, which impelled him to release her from the contract, hand over the magician's box, and send her home to Arendelle. How Rumple still ended up with the box is another story. I wonder if we'll ever see the old apprentice again.

I enjoyed this one. I have to admit, I never honestly never really thought of Fantasia as an option for a new storyline. I liked how they worked it into the show, and it did get a chuckle out of me when he turned into a mouse.
I enjoyed the Hook/Emma stuff to.

I'm betting the author will be Walt Disney-- or some sort of pastiche of Walt Disney.

Can you imagine all the kinds of apeshit Grumpy would go if he's driving home from a kegger and he saw a giant Mephistopheles and his minions erupting from a nearby mountain?? I'd keep watching the show just to see that!

Grumpy is wearing a bit thin with me- he is either complaining or shouting.

I did like the mind game Rumple played on Hook- put the idea in his head that reattaching the hand would influence the older-darker part of his life then after he removed it again it 'was just a lump of flesh', but having it reattached gave Hook permission to revert back to more of his true nature.

I'm glad that there will be an extra episode this season.

But I think it would have been much smarter of ABC to save that extra episode for the mid season 4 finale in December, and make THAT two hours long.

The extra hour is nice, but I do agree it is a little weird that it's part way through the season, instead of the mid-season or season finale.

The November 16th episode will actually start at its regular time at 8/7c, it will still be two hours.

Nerdgasmed over: Elsa made the staircase bridge from "Let it Go" and blasted the Snow Queen into a tree.

Honorable mentions: The Lost/Revolution reunion scene (though I hated both shows, I get the importance of EM and Giancarlo sharing a scene) and Emma and Regina making nice.

I wonder when the girl with the star on her wrist will be explained? They made a big focus on that mark, too much for just a glimpse of the past. At first I thought she might be the Snow Queen as a child but the WTF ending resolved that.

Missed Gold not being in this episode but grateful Grumpy was not wandering around yelling...

This was a good one. That was a hell of a twist at the end. I wonder if this means she can travel between worlds?
I definitely agree Lily must be important somewhere in the future, or at least the star shaped scar will be. That seemed a little to specific to be just a random scar to me.
