steveda, did you read the response I wrote in your UFO thread for why I don't believe UFOs are aliens? Because the answer is the same here, basically.
 
Ghosts & UFOs are real. Why you think Gene Rodenberry thought of a show Star Trek in the 50s? He was talking about during the 50s cause all these news about UFOs were back during the 50s he believe Aliens were on those space crafts. But If Ghost visited him during the 50s He would also created an Ghost TV show.

By this logic My Little Ponies and Pokemon are real too. Sorry dude, they're not real. They're fun to think about. They make for good fiction, but that's what they are: fiction.
 
I need evidence of something existing. I don't believe in ghosts because I've never seen any actual evidence of their existence.
 
No, there's no such as ghosts, fairies, psychics, Big Foot or UFOs. What IS real, sadly, are gullible people who will believe anything, no matter how ridiculous, as long it makes them feel "special," and less afraid of the big, bad, scary thing called reality.

Also real are people happy to take advantage of those people.
 
Seriously, though, steveda, belief in the supernatural is sort of a pet interest of mine, if you're interested in discussing it, I'd be totally up for it. I don't want to write a big ol' response about things like pareidolia and hypnagogic hallucinations and Occam's Razor if you're not open to a different perception, though.

Oh man, I wish My Little Ponies were real. That would be the coolest thing ever, but yeah, all fantasy. Ghosts, UFOs/Aliens encounters, Big Foot, Loch Ness Monster, all bullshit.
