When it came to that pile of loot - I kept thinking about all those stuffed animals. Creepy and sad.
With a lot of red meat and explosions galore, the zombie apocalypse returned to AMC last night bigger than ever. The Season 5 debut of The Walking Dead pulled in 17.3 million total viewers on Sunday at 9 PM with 11.0 million among adults 18-49. With a rise of 7% and 6% respectively, that viewership and demo series record chews up the previous high of 16.1 million watching and 10.4 million among the 18-49s that the Season 4 premiere of the blockbuster series drew on October 13 last year.
Comparing season opener to season finale, the Season 5 start of The Walking Dead is up strong from the viewership from the 15.7 million who watched the Season 4 ender on March 30. That biting episode got 10.2 million viewers among the 18-49 demo and is the highest rated and most watched finale of the show so far.
Is there a new producer that hated last season?
All that effort yo get to Terminus, and woosh: Gone.
He mentioned last night, when talking to the Termite in the cabin, that we don't know just how dark and bad he can be. So yeah, he may indeed have a very dark history. This goes back to the season 4 debut, where he told Karen that he does not like fence duty. Its only when pushed (ex. the car surrounded by walkers, attack by the Governor, etc.) that he uses lethal force. He likely has some sort of rage issue he's trying to suppress, for fear that it could get out of control.
I literally clapped when I saw Morgan. BOOYAH!
I thought Tyrese DID kill the guy?
See, I don't think so... It's a little vague. He stops Carol from going into the cabin. I'm thinking he let the guy go after beating the crap out of him and lies to Carol about it.I thought Tyrese DID kill the guy?
I too am generally of the opinion that they should have swept Terminus & finished the job. Survivors are going to take that shit personal, & you don't need to be running into that out in the wild
Think about it. Woodbury, the prison, & Terminus were 3 large sanctuaries in what was once a populated area, and all 3 are destroyed. I doubt there's anymore in Georgia like that
There's a good chance that their unwillingness to do so may cost them dearly. The problem is, they had it cushy for a good deal of time, at that prison. It's near a couple years into the fall now, and most anybody out there is either living a nomadic "Take or be taken" lifestyle, like Joe's claimers, or they were holed up somewhere that's probably been Woodburied by now
This season seems like the "There's no coming back for humanity" season. Every day from here on in is pretty much a day you hope you don't run into any people, because the days of strangers helping strangers is coming to a close
It was odd Marvel-like tag scene.

I honestly thought it was going to be Chris Hardwick under that mask, and that they just had a little fun filming an on-set intro for the season premiere of Talking Dead.
I do think Gareth and any outside associates will spell doom for many in Rick's group.
No, I could sort of see it was set up to be a turning point rather than a weigh station, even last seasonIs there a new producer that hated last season?
