Yeah, as far back as I can recall I don't think I've ever seen Burmese Python meat being sold in a local meat market or deli.

You know gents, with some friends, some beer, and a BBQ, I'd give it a go.

I wouldn't even need alcohol. I've eaten bear and octopus before. I just don't see giant constrictor snake meat on sale that often, and by that often I mean never.

Oh, it isn't an issue of neeeeeding alcohol. I just like it and it goes particularly well with friends and a BBQ.:)

    Got a new jacket :)

And yeah, those pants are a bit old and worn...not to mention big, and that shirt isn't that fresh, but jacket it still nice.

The Octobear is too expensive. Even high-end markets out in L.A. don't get it that often.

I would probably go home, google how to cook it, go back and buy the smallest piece.

I've had crocodile but never alligator.. however I'd have to go the python first since when the heck would you see that again.

    WHO is buying it??! LOLOL

Apologies for too many photos but I couldn't decide which to cut out:
Lands End and St Ives today! (Or yesterday--- the 4th)
The 4th sign is personalised for someone, you could pay to put your own words on it but I didn't so got someone else's. ;)

Obligatory Lands End Selfie (I don't do them generally, it's more of an "I was here" thing.)

I just noticed the classic Adam West Batman logo shirt. Nice. Take that, oppressors of the world!

Last few days I went on a business trip to Genoa, on the Ligurian Riviera, between the Tuscan coast and the French Côte d'Azur.

While not really a "beautiful" city (it's basically a dilapidated Middle Age maritime city with a huge industrial harbour stuck in the middle of it), it does have its charms.

I managed to take a couple of interesting shots of it.

Very modern building looking upon the shipping harbour. The old tower in the middle of the picture is the Lanterna, the old lighthouse that is the symbol of the city.

Two pictures of the sun setting behind the Porto Antico (old harbour), now a cultural centre and tourist area.

I went to see Erasure in concert last Tuesday night. (Yes, before anyone asks, they're still around. Their new album came out a couple of weeks ago and is #2 on the Billboard dance/electronic chart.) I was up in the balcony, so most of my pictures didn't turn out too well, but here are a couple:

I'm sort of regretting that I didn't take any pictures last time I saw them, because I was a lot closer.

I also took some videos, but I haven't uploaded it yet. If/when I get around to it, I'll post a couple of those as well.
