I liked it - I define ST merchandise into like it love it and live it, like it says Star Trek on it and live it dose not, but says Star Fleet or Enterprise, or something to enable the psychosis of believing that this is reality. The love it is anywhere in between.

KRAD was never spectacular, but he was always solid

I disagree old sport. Articles of The Federation is in my top 5. It's spectacular.
I agree. Also, The Art of the Impossible was epic.

I'm with you guys. Articles of the Federation & The Art of the Impossible were both spectacular/epic. I've been re-reading some of my favorites lately, and both are on the list.

^ Thanks everyone. Glad to see the review up, and glad to see people saying nice things about TAOTI and AOTF, which I still consider two of the highest points of my novel-writing career....

Quick question, KRAD, the Reman Free Vessel Vkruk from Articles of the Federation was described as a long retired Romulan military vessel of the Shirekral class. Possibly served in the Earth-Romulan War and still utilizing an ion drive and not a retrofitted singularity drive. The Shirekral class is supposed to be different from the Romulan birds of prey from "Minefield" and "Balance of Terror", correct?

Re: Non-Novel: The Klingon Art of War by K.R.A. DeCandido Review Threa

Yes, it was intended to be a different class of ship from the one in "Balance of Terror," though the Shirekral was probably still in service at the time of "BoT."

And the ending where Q Junior pulls on a thread of the universe? Is that a reference to another Q story or an action original to the novel?
