Why is Trip always in his underwear?

There's burny stuff in engineering. Needs to protect delicate skin.

Engineering scenes are boring anyway, so we should just have none of them.

Wasn't Sisko shirtless in the first DS9 episode? Seems like it was baby bottom smooth.

T'Pol was sexy but a lot of times she came across as a pre-pubescent Vulcan boy.

I don't know if Sisko was ever shirtless, but if he wasn't, and you have that baby-bottom smooth memory anyway... kinda funny.

I kinda picture him with baby moobs. Then, not now. Baby's all growed up.

The baby bottom memory comes from the baldness. You just transferred his head to his chest in your mind.

No he was never ever shirtless, though if I'm wrong tell me please!

arent there any others? well I consider both Saaviks and Valeris as TOS. After them, every Vulcan seemed like he/she was angry-and-pretending-to-be-trying-hard-not-to-show (which is unsexy) rather than intense and continent (like TOS vulcans up to Saavik).

Too many cheap actors for background characters and tv directors (in TNG and the other series), I guess.
Nah, the films are a different animal.

I'm midway or so through the second season, and I was joking with a friend about Trip always in his underwear, and it keeps coming! What's going on? Is this a running joke with the series? Does it continue? It was funny at first, but now ...
About time serious time was given men in their underwear.

I wasn't sure that I was going to enjoy Enterprise until I saw the infamous decontamination scene in 'Broken Bow'. Oh, how I wished I could have been T'Pol!
The anticipation of seeing Trip in his next-to-nothings was the only thing that got me through the first two seasons. Luckily, the majority of the final two seasons were well written and produced, so I didn't feel quite so shallow in enjoying them when Trip felt it necessary to lark about in his underwear!

Isn't it amazing how we celebrate it yet out there in the world people are all NO TEH TREK BETRAYTAL over Carol Marculs in her bikini?
That's because it's another sci-fi babe in next to nothing *yawn*

Now, if it'd been Chris Pine or/and Karl Urban in a Starfleet jockstrap then it would've been a far better scene--in fact it would've made the entire movie better.
