The role I'd like to see Shatner in would be Tiberius Kirk. Whom I envision as a bit of a rogue and scoundrel. A deep space merchant who plies his trade in a rundown ECS ship on the edge of Federation space.

I also want to see this exchange:

Spock: Hey, pardon me for asking, but who's the little old man?
Kirk: Uh, what little old man?
Spock: That little old man.
Kirk: Oh, he's my grandfather.
McCoy: Your grandfather?
Kirkl: Yes.
McCoy: That's not your grandfather.
Kirk: It is, you know.
McCoy: But I've seen your grandfather. He lives in your house.
Kirk: Oh, that's my other grandfather, but he's my grandfather, as well.
Spock: How do you reckon that one out?
Kirk: Well, everyone's entitled to two, aren't they?

If Shatner ever returns, I want to see him as someone other than Kirk. A bad guy, out to destroy the Enterprise.
Any that appeared I'd want to be playing new characters.

Although ... in the last scene one of the people on the bridge who previously had their back to the camera suddenly turns around,

It's Will Riker in a nuTrek uniform.

He stand and says "Computer, end program." the JJ Abrams universe fades to a empty room with a yellow grid on the walls, Riker quietly walks off the holodeck as we go to credits.

:)

I wouldn't half mind seeing Patrick Stewart in the new film, playing a Picard ancestor. We know that (as of TNG) his family has a history of military service going back half a millennium at least. To have a Picard active in Federation politics, or Starfleet, in TOS' time, would not be out of line, IMHO.

indeed Picard even talks about his illustrious ancestors in Generations so not impossible his grandfather was someone important (like Worfs)

^ Did he? I don't remember that. Do you know which episode it was?

In any case, perhaps the Picard of TOS' time is a senior admiral at Starfleet Command, or a Federation or Earth government official. In which case he'd have no need to leave Earth.

At the end of JJ3, Q shows up on the bridge and snaps his fingers. CUT TO NX Enterprise bridge, as Archer says "What the hell just happened?"

Roll credits.

Well we all know Worfs ancestors look like him so I would love to see Michael Dorn in the next film. More klingons in general seems like it can only be a good thing

A Klingon Starfleet officer from the future is sitting in a lone shuttle craft at the wrong coordinates. The Enterprise intercepts it and she is taken on board. Upon insisting that she is Starfleet, Kirk pulls a Déjà Q and puts her in the brig for no reason in spite of protests by Spock and Carol Marcus. This forces the gang from the OP photo to eventually uncloak their bird of prey, with Shatner sitting in the chair ala TNG: The Emissary.

Whatever man, fanwank is cool. Just make sure you use the term "warp" at least once and I will be fine with it.

If STAR TREK can have ENTERPRISE flush R2D2 out the commode and into the vacuum of outer space, then - surely - my beloved TNG crew can make a cameo and final appearance in some fashion, or another ...

2takes, please don't hotlink images from websites belonging to people who are not you unless you have their explicit permission. It's poor form, it's contrary to board policy, and besides, you've been asked not to do it on at least one occasion previously.

No. A TV special for the anniversary as noted above would be fine. But none of them in the movie.
