As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, onetime Dollhouse resident Gjokaj will play Daniel Sousa, an agent that Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter meets while working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve).

CMM meanwhile will play SSR Agent Jack Thompson, per Marvel.com.

Set prior to the Marvel One-Shot short of the same name, the eight-episode Agent Carter will bridge Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s winter hiatus, airing Tuesdays at 9/8c.

So what does that mean? Will he play his own grandfather? He was in Avengers as a police man.

Gjokaj? Count me in. Amazingly versatile actor. He should have been Dollhouse's breakout star.

How can it take prior to the One Shot? Wasn't she a nobody stuck in a desk job before the end of the One Shot?

She was in a desk job, but she certainly wasn't a nobody and clearly wasn't stuck.

Interesting to see that there was an original Jarvis (that Tony's AI is presumably named after), but it's too bad they didn't get Paul Bettany to play the role.

They showed a clip at NYCC, and mentioned that they just started shooting a week ago.

As described by newsarama:
Loeb said, "If I was to show a World Premiere of a scene featuring Haley Atwell, James Darcy... if I do that, are we okay, Clark?" "If we do that then we're good," he said. He pulled a DVD out of his pocket, and they showed the first ever scene from Agent Carter, literally shot on Monday of this week.
The scene showed them pulling up to a dock. It's Peggy Carter and Howard Stark talking about a new thing he's invented. "We're not even sure it works - but let's face it, I invented it, so it works." They hug and he leaves in a motor boat. A 10 second clip of an action scene was shown, too, with her kicking some major butt. And that's all she wrote.


I think the official Marvel description mentioned that she threw some guy out through a window.
