Two theories about [Spoilers]

Two theories about Missy from Deep Breath.

1. She's the Darkness at the Heart of the TARDIS, because she was flighty like the TARDIS in The Doctor's Wife and called him her boyfriend.

2. She's the Black Guardian. She's not Missy, she's Ms. E. E as in Entropy. Entropy figured in to the Key to Time serials. And she's dressed in black.

So, um, yeah.

1) Female Master
2) Tasha Lem from Time of The Doctor

Female Master was my first thought. But then I thought, "Nah, too obvious and dumb."

Of course, every time I've said that about Moff, it turned out to be true, like River's identity (guessed it ahead of time but rejected it for being too stupid and contrived).

She's been Scottish longer than the Doctor, and might have/probably made him Scottish like she is.

Unfortunately, Moff has lost a lot of his subtle style. I think the most obvious answer probably is true ... It is a female incarnation of the Master.

I also want to see this and is the main reason why I hope that she isn't The Master (along with it being too obvious).

Flavia used to make my heart go bumpity bumpity biump bump when I was a little boy.

of course she could be a TARDIS, and the "my boyfriend" that Missy is talking about is the Doctor's TARDIS.

Big finish did a story about how the Doctors last TARDIS (if he stole this one, logically he must have already had one of his own that h left behind?) from before finally found him and was causing trouble.

She's some really lame plot device that'll probably have universe-shattering consequences that Moffat will ignore/forget in the following episode.
