At the risk of being pedantic, I think it's oxymoronic to say that a one-man vigilante's unique outfit is a "uniform." It's an outfit, armor, getup, suit, costume, all of those... but not a uniform. ;)

He looks like he has the physique, but he also looks like he's more likely to play a grizzled soldier then a character that is supposed to be the magic adult form of a 10-13 year old. Then again, this is "Shazam", not Captain Marvel (I'm talking about the original Cap, not the one Marvel puts their stolen name on), and "Shazam" is a greedy, unheroic, cowardly idiot (the opposite of Captain Marvel, basically). So, going with a meaner looking guy for the hero form probably makes sense, especially for a Snyder style movie.

Oh Kirk, did you hear what the rumored plans were for Shazam last year? Rumor was there that Dwayne Johnson was going to play Black Adam and Shazam. He would start out evil (with the traditional black suit) and then turn good after Justice League and wear red. This was before all the New Gods stuff was added to JL. Back when Black Adam was the rumored villain of JL Part 1.

Nightmare all around.

I'm pretty sure you're just messing with me, but that's still eerily close to what Geoff Johns did in the comics, except it was evil "Shazam" into Good "Shazam" (not Black Adam into "Shazam") and they never actually turned him into a real hero in the end.

I wouldn't do that. However, Johns has been producing the various DC films since GL in 2011. Haha, maybe it was his idea? What DC needs to do is release omnibus collections of Jerry Ordway's 1994-1999 Power of Shazam series. For fans like us, and for people who don't know the real Captain Marvel.

Ben Affleck- The man is in all facets of production of the DCCU now. Directing,Acting,writing and producing

Margo Robbie- Will produce a Harley Quinn Spin-off

Henry Cavill- Will probably get a producer credit for "MOS 2"


Looks like the actors are taking a more proactive approach to getting things right.

I would preferred the Rock playing BOTH roles, I think he's good enough to make the two distinct... and since the super being is different than the mortal, it's conceivable that Shazam would use the same body
