TOS Caption Contest #226: Comm Jobs

Yeah, im not too happy that he just disappeared. Especially since he is so good at letting us know if he is too busy to work on this ....

 

I had sent him a private message asking when the new pics would be up and he had told me that he had been busy and was planning to change them up on Saturday. His reply is dated June 8th which I took to mean that he would change them up on Saturday June 11th. It has been more than a week since then. I don't know him outside of this forum (nor much within it either), but that is what I know.

 

Hi folks, no I'm not dead, just incredibly busy these days. Sadly too busy to continue running these caption contests. But, just as members of the community have stepped in during the past to keep the ball rolling, I entrust the TOS Caption Contest, Movie Caption Contest, and the Star Trek XI+ Caption Contest to those who are willing to pick up the flag. Anywho...



Scotty: "Check the language banks and find out what a 'Dirty Sanchez' is."



Spock: "Really, Doctor? Does everyone have to see the results of my colon exam?"

McCoy: "It's educational."

 

Uhura: Scotty, what are you doing?

Scotty: I’ve been asked to do one of those Captain Morgan commercials. Just practicing the pose.

Uhura: Cool, are they paying you well?

Scotty: Aye, 10 free cases of the stuff for a 15 second spot!

Kyle (off-screen and under his breath): What a lush!

Scotty: Yer mouth laddie, close it now!

 

Kirk: Spock, I’m sorry you had to find out about it this way.


Spock: You engaged in sexual intercourse with my mother and then posted the footage to your blog?


Kirk: I said I was sorry!


McCoy: How did you get a sehlat outfit small enough to fit that midget?


Kirk: There’s this really kinky place on Argelius II.....


Spock: Both of you shut up already!

 

Very Glad you're okay Rat Boy! I'm willing to pick up the baton and keep things going. But don't think I should be doing all of them, that would be a major monopoly and I don't know how everyone would feel about that. Yeoman Randi and I have already chatted a little bit about this. So anyone interested should PM me so we can figure things out.



Scotty: Scotty dinnae like being talked to that way Ambassador!

 

Uhura: "Oh my God, are you flexing at me?!"

 

It's alwaus sad when someone steps down, but thanks for the fun Rat Boy! Hey, on your way out, pick the winners at least. :-)

Without question, many thanks to RatBoy for all of his work on these caption contests. I imagine it must be very time consuming to narrow down the choices and even more difficult to select the final few. There's a lot of witty people on this board.

I will review all of the entries and announce the winners by this evening. At the same time, I will post new pics to be captioned under a new thread.

Please do not post any new entries for contest #226 (including the second round of photos posted during Rat Boy's absence---I will pick winners from this series of pics as well).

Hey Rat Boy thanks for holding the candle for so long with the caption contest. Like you, I've become insanely busy. So with your departure, I too will be bowing out from the contests for awhile. But I look forward to reading what y'all come up with.
