Yes, most fans aren't even aware that there are two Neelixes on this show: one in the Delta Quadrant and one in the Alpha Quadrant. I love the one in the DQ but I think that physically the one the AQ is a lot more appealing, LOL!This is cute.With Neelix, the cat.
Well, I've only finished THE ETERNAL TIDE and so far he hasn't has such a big role, I thought. But I take your word for it and I'm sure he'll become more important in the forthcoming books.I've always liked the character of Reginald Barkley and thought he was the perfect choice to be the person 'obsessed' with Voyager.
I actually quite like him, too. However, I'm not really a fan of the other series and his presence or absence on Voyager doesn't mean much too me. If I could have chosen someone from the TNG cast to be included on Voyager, that would have been Data. I'd love to have seen his interaction with Seven, for example.

No, that was not it. It's a long story but to put it in a nutshell, when I registered on Facebook, I had no idea that you were not allowed to use a fictional character's name. So when one of my "adversaries" reported me to the people in charge, they simply got rid of me - without warning.
Which I resented for two reasons. First, I was not the only Thomas Eugene Paris on Facebook - and of course, the others were not blocked. Not to mention how many Darth Vaders, Winnie the Poohs, etc. there are there. But their presence is tolerated - mine wasn't. Thanks to someone who hated me.
The other thing I took exception to was that when I registered on FB, there was absolutely no warning there that people were only allowed to use their own names. Before FB, it was natural for me that on any given forum you used an avatar and not your own particulars. I didn't know about the rules on Facebook and Facebook itself never drew my attention to them. What I thought was even worse was the fact that they didn't even give me a second chance. They could have warned me saying that I should change my name within the next 48 hours - or something like that.
But nothing like that happened. First they deactivated my profile (for about a month), then deleted it altogether.
After that I didn't feel like going back and so I came here.

That's why I hate Facebook (Fratzenbuch). Never thought about registering there....
Fratzenbuch? A very adequate name in German.
We have something for it in Hungarian but this forum is too civilized to put it down here ...
Maybe I should get a Facebook account under the name Flotter T. Water!
Try it ...If you have no "enemies" there so to speak, you'll get by with that.
However, it's easy to find people (on FB, here or anywhere else really) who don't agree with you. And for most, this would be a good enough reason to report you.
For me, it's most incomprehensible WHY FB doesn't allow the use of false names in the first place. It's common practice all over the Internet ...

I prefer the ordinary Voyager (and DS9) uniforms.
To me the DS9 uniforms in later seasons look horrible.
I love these ones, this white colour lends them such elegance. In fact, I could imagine these for a new series.
But then, there's no accounting for tastes ...
