Spoilers STAR TREK BEYOND

From this one completely generic shot, I can already tell I'm going to hate this film and fuck Justin Lin.

EDIT: fuck *you Justin Lin :shifty:

Not even going to change it. Also, just in case any of you think otherwise, it's just sarcasm. Making fun of posts I see on Reddit of the same nature.

Two weeks ago, the cast and crew of STAR TREK BEYOND completed five days of additional photography at Manhattan Beach Studios south of Los Angeles, and we brought you a few photos from that period of reshoots featuring Chris Pine and Justin Lin taking care of business on set.

Now that the additional filming is completed, we thought that'd be it from the BEYOND set... but one last view of the sci-fi shooting stage has emerged, from Instagram user hollywooodhope, a security guard working at the MBS facili
ty.

What the hell is going on with this film?

Sometimes I forget it's even coming out in three months. The marketing and hype is dead right now, just give us something.

Trying to match the hype of juggernauts like BvS and Civil War would be pointless.

STB comes out during the summer movie season. People are going to be, you know, going to the movies. STB is likely to have huge stand-ups in the theater lobbies for all to see. Anyone wanting to see it will make plans to see it so a big early marketing campaign isn't that vital, imo. The more money the film saves now, the better looking their bottom line will be later on.

STAR TREK BEYOND

The perceived notion that the film is late in marketing is directly proportional to the anticipation level. From what I'm seeing, along with the trailer views, this film is highly anticipated (in a poll I saw, it ranked number 2 in anticipated movies after June).

The fact is, this movie is coming out 2 months later than the last 2, so it seems like it's late. In fact, if it's first FULL USA trailer comes out in April like we've heard, it's actually AHEAD of schedule over STID, because STID's first full US trailer was April 17th.
