Ship Fighting in Warp Speed?

    If two ships get in the same bubble they can fire normally anyway. Phasers are like subspace radio I would think.

    Yeah, that's what I remember---they did fire weapons at warp speed in TOS. They even fired weapons while sitting still at ships flying by at warp speed.

    In TMP whilke the ship is traveling thru the wormhole they use a photon torp and explain they could have used the phasers if the engines weren't malfunctioning. This is nothing new in any way.

    The only thing I hated was the sound effect used for the Vengence as it overtook Enterprise.

    The ships aren't actually moving, though, it's the space around the ship that moves. That's the entire idea behind Warp drive.

    Agreed. Exactly what I thought while seeing it a second time: both ships are in the same warp field corridor.

    agreed.... the magical word being FICTION boys and girls. Science fiction :)
